The High

It wraps around me, this warmness.
Your soothing gaze.
Captures my mind, not daring to let me go.
I look back at you,finally I am able to smile.
You walk to me, your feet taking calming steps.
I become uneasy, and my heart skips in approval.
"Hey, how are you?" A friendly smile appears.
   "I am doing good." Is all I manage to st-udder out.
What is it about this that gets me so happy.
                You merely said hello..
I myself do not even understand.
   All I know is that I like it.
And I don't want you to stop.
